Keeping Connected
Covid-19

A changing reality:

For many of us, attending Mass on a Sunday is part of our routine. In its absence we are very likely to develop new routines. Maybe on a Sunday morning we will watch TV, or go for a run, or go to a café, or play golf. I encourage you all to keep a prayer routine as part of your Sunday morning. Take the time to read the scriptures and sit for a moment in prayer. From next Sunday we will be livestreaming the Mass. This may not appeal to everyone, but we hope that this will be one way of keeping our local connections alive. Please note the Church is open every day and that the seats have been arranged so we can safely come and spend some time in quiet prayer.

This crisis will impact on everyone, but for some the impact will be particularly difficult. We will be posting prayers regularly on our Facebook and Webpage so that we are praying for those who are really struggling during this crisis. Please say a prayer for the families who are unable to visit loved ones in our Rest homes because they are in lockdown and for those who are under stress because of financial uncertainty.
